Tranquebar - Ruined Ancient Temple The Masilamani Nathar temple

For a change i am posting about the ruined temple at Tharangampadi. The Masilamani Nathar temple was built in 1306 by Maravarman Kulashekhara Pandian in a small fishing & trading village called Kulashekharapattinam; also referred to as Sadangambadi, Thayangambadi and Tharangambadi

 

Sadly today the sea has ravaged the temple while the Danish fort and church are in good condition having been re furbished by the Danes
