Bhoominathar koil Mannachanallur- Vaastu temple

Mannacchanallur is about 10 kms from trichy and in the middle of this town is the famous Bhoominathar temple very famous for Vaastu related problems. A king  who had vaastu related problems prayed to Shiva and built this temple for him. It is a small temple but very pleasing as you enter.

There is a main sanctum for Lord Bhoominathar  and Ambal Jagadambal. Nandi is supposed to be inside the sanctum playing the drums. The kosta vigrahas are all neatly carved

There are shrines for Nalvar – Gnanasambandar, Tirunavukkarasar, Sundarar and Manickavasagar –Sekkizhar, Lord Vinayaka under Vanni tree, Lord Nagabarana Vinayaka, Saptha Kannikas (seven virgins), Lord Kasi Viswanathar with Mother Visalakshhi, Sri Anjaneya, Lord Muruga with His consorts Valli and Deivanai, Chandikeswara, Chandikeswari and Kalabhairava. Guardian deity Karuppannar shrine is at the entrance of the temple. Sun God in the Navagraha (9 planets) shrine graces with His consorts Usha and Prathyusha.
