Athmanadheshwarar Gnanambikai temple. This is a small ancient temple close to Tirukattupalli. It is a padal petra sthalam with Appar singing about this temple. I visited this temple while it was undergoing repairs and a concrete front porch was being built.. The temple was closed . The asta vasus are supposed to have prayed here and relieved of their sins. The temple is famous for Child bearing.
How to Reach:
On the Trichy tiruvaiyaru route after crossing the Kallanai take the right branch road on the vellaru side you will cross Thirukattupalli and then Michaelpatti Ask for kandiyur road and the temple is on the road side
