This small town in Arcot near Vellore on the Chennai Bangalore highway is the place of the Adhistanams of two acharyas preceding Mahaperiyava. After you cross Ranipet look for a small road to the left leading to Arani before Arcot. The road leads to Tindivanam. At about 20 kms in between is kalavai.
